As a lecturer, my primary responsibility is in teaching courses, spanning a range of areas from Language Contact through Typology and Historical Linguistics. My primary area of expertise is in Indo-European studies, particularly Sanskrit and Germanic linguistics. I am interested in the interaction of different linguistic modules (e.g., exploring the interplay of syntax and phonology on the position of enclitic pronouns), and in how typological findings can be used within historical linguistics (e.g., impacting the unusual phenomenon of enclisis to vocatives in Vedic Sanskrit or as additional support for etymological findings).
